Right-clicking on the window's title bar or the empty space to the right of the worksheet columns (but inside the workbook window) and choose View from the shortcut menu. From this context menu, when click on a item to toggle check, the menu will not close. You can check or uncheck multiple items in this fly-out menu at the same time. Then click outside of the menu, it will close.
