Description: This graph was created as a 2D scatter plot with marginal histograms showing distributions in X and Y. The plot was then customized by hiding histograms and turning on distribution curves.
As with Origin's standard histograms, you can overlay a distribution curve on a marginal histogram using controls on the Data tab of Plot Details. Next, hide the histogram's bars by making them colorless, then customize the appearance of the remaining distribution curve using controls on the Line tab of Plot Details.
To plot a grouped marginal histogram, add a dataset to each layer separately, then group them.
