Brain Atlas Analyzer Origin provides a Brain Atlas Analyzer app for neuroscientists to perform analysis of histological brain tissue based on atlas-defined brain regions. Within the app, users can : Import and crop images of histological sections Overlay and match brain atlas SVGs on histological sections Select regions of interest, manually or by atlas, and calculate RGB intensity Compare the overlap between regions of interest Import Images of Histological Sections Import into orderly matrix Support individual images or images with multiple sections Crop or rotate during import Overlay Brain Atlas SVGs Support overlay a series of brain atlas SVG images (Allen Brain Atlas etc.) Adjust the atlas view and find the best match Import brain images of histological sections, crop and combine into orderly matrix A series of SVG images can be overlaid on the orderly matrix with acronym map, including color and name. You can manually adjust the position and size of the SVG images to the best match. Analysis and Graphing Select regions of interest from matrix directly or by choosing areas defined by the atlas Compare the overlap between regions of interest Perform Intensity Analysis Calculate the RGB intensity Graphing from intensity report Compare the ROI drawn with the areas defined by the atlas. This is useful to trace some area of interest, such as a lesion or a brain injection fluorophore. Calculate the overlap between this region and the area. Perform an intensity analysis on the selected areas Select desired areas and calculate the RGB intensity. Then easily create a column graph from the intensity report.
