1.22 FAQ-136 How do I add and customize tables in a graph?

Last Update: 2/3/2015

To add a new table to your graph, right-click and choose New Table from the context menu. Alternatively, click the New Link Table button on the Graph toolbar. Specify number of columns and rows in the dialog that opens. Click OK. Now double-click on the table object which will open a Table worksheet where you can input values and Update Table. You can use this table to link to cells containing results from fitting and other analysis report tables.

You can also simply paste or paste link already existing report tables onto your graph. To do this, go to your analysis report sheet, which contains multiple report tables, and right-click on any report table heading i.e., Notes, Statistics, or Parameters, and choose Copy Table from the context menu. Go to your graph, right-click and choose Paste, Paste Link (to paste-link the table you're copying), or Paste Link Transpose (to paste-link & transpose the table you're copying).

You can also paste a range of data from report tables, although pasting limited ranges will not bring over header information.
