Use the Data Highlighter tool (Tools toolbar) to select plotted data points in your 2D graph or 3D Scatter/Bar graph(from worksheet data) and simultaneously highlight the corresponding data rows in the source sheet; or you can select rows of data in the worksheet and highlight corresponding points in plots of that data.
For 2D line/symbol/column plots with multiple plots in the layer, clicking on a plot in the graph window or Object Manager will simultaneously dim other plots in the layer and highlight (select) the source data in the worksheet. If you prefer not to have the worksheet data highlighted when you select a plot, set the LabTalk system variable @PS = 0. See FAQ-708 How do I permanently change the value of a system variable?
From 2022 version, when select this tool, it will pop-up the Data Highlighter Mini Toolbar on the right-top of the Graph window or Workbook window.
Using this toolbar, you can mask or unmask points, delete points and create subset sheet easily.
Note that highlighted worksheet data rows remains selected even after exiting Data Highlighter mode (press ESC or click on the Pointer tool ). This allows you to further operate on the data. The following actions are supported:
