Installation

NOTE: This tool requires instruNet software version 3.6 or higher, and a 64-bit computer running Windows 7 or  higher.If you do not have instruNet software, you can download it from this page.

  1. Click the "Download Now" button to get the file "instruNet_to_Origin.opx"
  2. Launch Origin and simply drag-and-drop the file onto Origin. Note that you may need to launch Origin not-as-administrator.
  3. A toolbar with one button named "iNet" will appear in the Origin window. Drag this toolbar to the side and dock it as desired.
  4. Click the iNet button to launch the application.

Simulation mode

If instruNet hardware is not connected to this computer and you want to simulate an instruNet i555 hardware device (where you receive random numbers instead of real a/d values), changed file name "...Documents\ instruNet\ End User\ iNet32 Demo Off.txt" to "...iNet32 Demo On.txt". If you want to later disable simulation, rename the file back to "..Off".
