Origin can also function as Automation (COM) Server whereby other client applications, such as Excel, VB, VC, LabVIEW etc, can programmatically launch Origin, and send data and commands to Origin. This functionality enables users of other applications to tap into the vast data analysis and graphing resources provided by Origin to perform, for example, post processing of data acquired from experiments.
