Onsite Training at Customer Location

General Information

Our certified trainers from the OriginLab offices located in North America and China, and our various world-wide distributor locations, will travel to, and conduct the training, at your location.

Onsite training allows your organization to reduce your cost of travel, allowing your organization to train multiple groups of employees. For example, the training could be repeated for different groups of employees over multiple days.
Onsite courses can also be conducted online if desired. Please see our online training section for details.

Technical Requirements

Each student should have access to one computer, where the desired version of Origin is installed and appropriate license files should exist. You may contact OriginLab to procure temporary licenses for the purpose of training, if necessary.
Participants should ideally have access to a shared network drive that the trainer can also access, to efficiently share files during the training. If a network drive is not available, all computers should at least have support to read from a CD ROM or other storage devices such as a USB drive.
Internet connection is desired on all machines, but is not mandatory.

Your organization will pay for travel and accommodation expenses of the trainer. Please contact us for further details.

Training at OriginLab and Distributor Offices

General Information

You will travel to one of our locations to undergo the training. The training will be conducted by OriginLab Certified instructors. The following locations are available:

• Wellesely/Newton, MA, USA (suburbs of Boston)
• Northampton, MA, USA (closest airport is Bradley International, BDL)
• Guangzhou, China

Technical Requirements

The trainee is expected to bring a laptop computer with the desired version of Origin installed with proper licensing. If laptop computers and/or licensing is be provided by our site, that can be arranged as well.

Training at Society Meeting/Conferences, One-on-one

General Information

OriginLab attends society meetings and conferences throughout the US. We can arrange in advance to have technical staff available to provide one-on-one technical trainings during the society meeting.

Online Training

General Information

OriginLab offices located in Massachusetts, USA and Guangzhou, China, as well as certain distributors of OriginLab offer online training.

Online training provides a flexible and efficient way for a small group of customers to learn about Origin without having to leave the comfort of their offices.
Online trainings are typically limited to two to four hours per day, and can be conducted over multiple days.

Technical Requirements

The class size is typically limited to a maximum of 5 students to ensure most efficient learning.
A high speed internet connection is required. A speaker phone is required as the audio part of the training is supported over telephone lines and not over the internet.
A shared network drive at the customer site is desirable, so that support files could be installed there by IT personnel in advance of the training.
