This plot type is a special kind of line and symbol graph where the line connection is set to 2 Point Segment automatically.

To create this type of connection, Origin alternates a straight line and a no line connection between pairs of points. Thus, every two consecutive data points are connected by a line (the 1st and 2nd data points, the 3rd and 4th data points, etc.).

Since the 2pt segment plot is made up of both line and scatter graph components, its details are the same and are therefore not covered in a separate page.
