With the advanced peak finding methods provided by the Peak Analyzer, even hidden peaks in spectrum data can be automatically detected.
In the example below, there are two hidden peaks in the spectrum:
These hidden peaks can be detected by the 2nd Derivative (Search Hidden Peaks) method provided by the Peak Analyzer.
The result is shown below. The peaks centered in 4.98 and 7.03 are hidden peaks that are found with the 2nd Derivative method.
