Description:

This tool was developed to calculate Allan variance for a time series signal with fixed tau estimators. The output includes:

  • Allan variance
  • Allan deviation
  • Log-Log plot for Allan variance

Installation

  1. Download Allan Variance.opx file.
  2. Drag and drop the opx file into Origin.

A new menu item in Statistics: Descriptive Statistics is created.

This tool needs at least Origin 8.6 to run.

Operation

  1. Make a worksheet for input data active. Select Statistics: Descriptive Statistics: Allan Variance from Origin menu.
  2. In the opened dialog, select XY data from the worksheet as Input Data. You can determine whether to show the log-log plot, and the destination for output results.

For instance, 1.2,2.4,3.6... so it should be improved.
